How do I get to Arklow Baptist Church?
Arklow Baptist Church is located in the old Wicklow Vale Emporium of Arklow’s historic “Fishery District” on Tinnahask.
From Dublin: take the N11 south to the first Arklow turn off (north R772). Go over the bridge, and turn left on Main Street. At the end of the one-way, turn left onto Tinnahask St. Turn right onto Tinnahask Lower and you will see the church straight ahead.
From Wexford: Take the N11 north the the first Arklow turn off (south R772). You will go through three roundabouts on R772. At the third, take the second exit which veers to the right. Continue over the railway and take the second right on Rory O’Connor. Take a right, and then an immediate left onto Blackberry Glade. Follow Blackberry Glade around a few curves until you come directly to Arklow Baptist Church.
I’m brand new, what should I expect when I visit?
If you visit us on Sunday morning, you will have the opportunity to attend our morning worship services. Our church people will greet you when you arrive and guide you to where you and your family should go. They can answer any question that you have at the time.
Our morning worship services are uplifting times of praise and challenge from the Word of God. Pastor O’Gorman preaches practical Bible messages.
What about my children?
From babies through adults, we have a place for everyone. Our people will be glad to direct you where to go.
What should I wear?
Although our leadership and members dress in a “conservative style,” we want you to feel welcome and comfortable while you visit.
How can I meet the pastor?
Pastor O’Gorman is available after the services to greet members and guests in the lobby.
